How long does installation actually take?
Minutes. Mount the unit, connect power (AC, DC or USB), join it to your network, and readings appear in your dashboard. No wiring runs, no contractors, no IT project.
Do I need Wi-Fi in every room?
No. Alongside Wi-Fi, the monitor supports 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz XBee/Zigbee and SwarmBee mesh — so devices can relay through an Aretas gateway even in buildings with patchy coverage.
What about calibration and drift?
Every unit ships factory-calibrated NDIR. It's a stable, long-lived sensing technology, and we provide simple recalibration guidance to keep readings tight over the years.
Where does my data live — and who owns it?
Your readings stream to the Aretas IoT Cloud with long-term storage. The data is yours: view it, export it, or pull it into your own systems through the REST API.
Can I monitor more than CO₂ later?
Yes — that's the point of the platform. Add particulate, VOC, sound, occupancy and dozens of other Aretas sensors any time, and they all land in the same dashboards and alerts.
